An ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Seye Famojuro has been conferred and decorated with fellowship award at Institute of Security, Nigeria in Lagos State.
According to the management of the institute, Otunba Seye was found worthy of the award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the promotion of quality security, safety, leadership and peace for the growth of mankind and society.
Famojuro who doubles as the Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon was represented at the event held at the University of Lagos, by his close associate, DR Gbolahan Abimbola.
The event was in commemoration of the 16th International Security Conference.
He was equally elected as a fellow of the institute.
Otunba Seye’s role in the reformation of Oyo State Park Management System cannot be overemphasized. He ensured that peace and tranquility become the order of the day in the affairs of the drivers’ union.
The theme of the conference was: Exploring Best Practices and Enhanced Professionalism in Security and Police Architecture in Nigeria.
Other notable people on the entourage to honour Otunba Seye Famojuro were, Hon Siju Lawal, Mrs Nike Arewa, Ogunlana Wasiu, Adebayo Ayobami among others.
