As part of effort by the Seyi Makinde led administration to ensure safe and secured environment, the State Government on Thursday distributed operational vehicles to various security agents in the State.
Among the operational vehicles given to the Oyo State Police Command, Olorunda Abaa Divisional Police Station built and equiped by Oloye Benedict Akika was among the beneficiaries.
Akika who is the Agbaakin of the community had promised to build a police station for the community during his installation ceremony in early 2022.
Akika, a philanthropist was at the State Secretariat where the operational vehicles were distributed.
