    Photos: Excitement As ‘OOT Football Competition’ Kicks-off In Ogbomoso South LG

    As part of efforts to engage and inspire the youth in Ogbomoso South local government, the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, OOT football competition kicked off on Monday.

    Hon Oyedokun who is unarguably one of the best performing Chairmen who in the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde said he decided to organize the competition after recognizing that sports remains one of the best means to empower the youth.


    “Recognizing the potential of sports in empowering the youth, I have strategically organized the OOT Cup to engage and inspire young individuals.

    “The tournament will not only provide a platform for healthy competition but also instills essential values such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience.


    “As the OOT Cup kicks off today, the excitement and anticipation within Ogbomoso South are palpable, as vision for this tournament goes beyond the field, aiming to leave a lasting impact on the community.

    “The OOT Cup stands as a symbol of unity, empowerment, and progress for Ogbomoso South, showcasing the potential that grassroots initiatives hold for local development.”

    The epoch making competition attracted hundreds of football enthusiasts across the local government as the stadium was filled to capacity.
