The fastest growing Ibadan – based online medium, GOALPOACHER NEWS was on Tuesday bestowed with a prestigious award of Excellence at the ongoing OYO MEDIA CONFERENCE 2021 edition.
Presenting the award to GOALPOACHER NEWS in Ibadan, the CEO of JAGABAN TV and senior consultant to some TV Stations in Nigeria, Mr. Samuel Adenitan, said, the award was in recognition of the GOALPOACHER NEWS publisher’s bravery, credibility and commitment to the journalism profession.
His words: “Gone are the days when people referred to lawyers as the hope of the common man. Today journalists are the hope of the common man and that’s what GOALPOACHER NEWS is demonstrating in Oyo State. His medium has become one if not the most trusted and formidable news platform in Oyo State where radio and TV stations do lift stories. I have evidences for this.”
Adenitan, urged the publisher to continue with his exploits in journalism and encouraged others to emulate him.
Responding, the publisher of GOALPOACHER NEWS, Mr. Segun Kehinde, expressed appreciation to the organizers for the award, saying that he least expected it.
