The Rotary Club International, has honoured the lawmaker representing Akinyele State Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayotunde Fatokun at her 7th Anniversary and Investiture Ceremony held at the Rotary Club House, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The event, which was part of the organisation’s way of celebrating exceptional leadership in social, economic and political circles.
Presenting the award, it was stated that the Rotary Club of Ibadan-Ring Road DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD was presented to Hon. Ayotunde Fatokun in recognition of his outstanding commitment and contribution to community development”.
You would recall that Hon. Ayo Fatokun in July empowered over one hundred and fifty youths in Akinyele Local Government in various vocational skills after his Foundation had trained the youths.
The Chairman Parliamentary Council appreciated the Rotary Club International for the award and promised not to relent in his efforts to make life more meaningful for Akinyele and Oyo State at large. He also promised to partner with the organisation to execute more meaningful and developmental projects in his constituency.
He becomes one of the fewest well meaning individuals in Oyo State to recieve the prestigious Rotary Humanitarian Award.
