Poly Ibadan NASU Branch Expresses Grievances Over Delay in Implementing New Minimum Wage

Members of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, (NASU), have expressed their grievances over the Oyo state government’s delay in implementing the new minimum wage.

While speaking with newsmen in Ibadan, the chairman, Non-academic staff Union of Polytechnic Ibadan, Comrade Ibrahim Adekunle, lamented that the delay has halted welfare and general well-being of Union members.

Over the delay, the union began a three days warning strike recently to request their demands.

Before the industrial action’s commencement, NASU’s Public Relations Officer, Sholadoye Adewole, called for calm and understanding from the Non- academic staff, urging them to exercise patience.
