A youth group in Oyo State, Progressive Oyo Youth Forum (POYF) has written to appreciate Hon Akinremi Jagaban, the Ibadan North Federal Rep for his effort in ensuring Oyo state is adequately carried along in the activities of the Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress.
We recall, that on 25th June 2020, Hon Akinremi Olaide (Jagaban) was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari alongside other members from across the country, to manage the activities of the APC for the next 6 months, been the only representative of the House of Reps on that committee.
In a release made available to GOALPOACHER NEWS today, POYF appreciates President Muhammadu Buhari led NEC for finding Hon Olaide Jagaban worthy of serving on that noble committee and they believe this move further puts Oyo State in relevance, as far as the All Progressives Congress is concerned.
They went further to state that they believe Hon Jagaban will justify his appointment on that committee by contributing immensely to the processes that will engineer genuine reconciliation in the APC at all levels.
POYF then appreciated Hon Akinremi for facilitating the nomination of Hon Shina Peller into the Ondo State Reconciliation Committee, and Hon Afeez Bolaji Rẹpẹtẹ into the Edo State Campaign Council that the Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC has just set up, with their inauguration slated for today, 6th July 2020.
POYF finally charged Hon Akinremi to continue on the good path of delivering dividends of democracy to his Constituents, to keep putting the interest of Oyo State first, and to ensure he avails himself of all opportunities to facilitate the inclusion of more people of Oyo origin in general National activities. These they believe will contribute immensely to the growth and progress of Oyo State.
