Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka, the Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom and Former Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Oyo State has felicitated  Muslim Ummah at Ramadan

In a press statement Made Available to Newsmen by His Technical Assistant on Digital Communication, Kehinde Owolabi

Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka extended his warmest greetings to all Muslims, both in Oyo State and across the nation during this Ramadan, a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

He said “ this period serves as a reminder of the profound power of faith and devotion. It is a month to purify our hearts and minds, increase our acts of charity, and strengthen our bond with Allah (SWT). It is a time for us to come together in unity, peace, and brotherhood”

He urged all Muslims to remember the true essence of Ramadan, which is not just about abstaining from food and drink, but also about controlling our desires, being generous with those in need, and seeking forgiveness for our sins. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Qur’an: “O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.” (Qur’an 2:183). May this sacred month bring us closer to Allah and may our supplications be answered.

Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka concluded by praying that Allah grants us all strength, patience, and steadfastness in our worship. May He bless our homes, our families, and our leaders with peace and prosperity.

    Ramadan Kareem to all!
