We read with consternation and much doubts in Tribune News paper of May 6th, 2021, the purported pre endorsement of certain individuals against forthcoming gubernatorial election in Oyo State including the son of our reverred former Governor, H.E. Otunba Alao Akala.
We certainly do not want to believe that the allegation is true. As a matter of fact, we know that Chief Alao AKALA will not promote selfish agenda.
We consider the allegation as baseless, preposterous, unfounded and a beer parlour gossip because of our firm belief in Chief Alao AKALA as a good leader and a father who will always promote justice and fair play among his followers and children.
We also consider the allegation as untrue because Chief Alao AKALA having attained the age of 71 will want to jealously guard his reputation for life .
We consider it unthinkable and unbelievable that a person of Chief Alao AKALA calibre will want to introduce crisis in the party he is contributing to solidify ahead of 2023 election, hence we dismiss all insinuations that will make one to believe in the story.
We strongly believed the story is but a figment of warped imagination and jaundiced views of the author because Chief Alao AKALA will not want to make rubbish of all reconciliatory moves the party leadership that includes him, has been doing and doing excellently well.
We sincerely believed the article is the work of the spanners and spoilers on self serving and opposition errand in the party which we knew Chief Alao Akala will never allow to thrive.
We believed the story cannot be true because our highly reverred former Governor will not be part of those that will slam door on quality hands and minds that abound in this noble party amongst which we shall fairly and transparently make a good selection on our journey to victory in 2023.
