The federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, has flagged off the reconstruction of the Major Salawu Road in Ward 12, Constituency 2 of Ibadan North Local Government Area.



The project forms part of the lawmaker’s ongoing efforts to facilitate infrastructural development and deliver tangible dividends of democracy to residents of his constituency.


During an on-site inspection of the project, residents expressed excitement over the development, commending Hon. Oyekunle for facilitating the reconstruction of the long-awaited road.




The residents, who described the project as a significant intervention in the area, assured the lawmaker of their continued support, noting that his interventions across the constituency had demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and development of the people.


Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Oyekunle assured constituents that the ongoing intervention was only part of a broader commitment to bringing more development projects to Ibadan North.
He promised that more dividends of democratic representation would be extended to the various communities within the constituency over time, urging residents to remain patient and supportive as more projects are delivered.
The Major Salawu Road reconstruction becomes the third road reconstruction project facilitated by Hon. Oyekunle in less than 10 months since his assumption of office as the representative of Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber.
The latest intervention further adds to the series of constituency projects being facilitated by the federal lawmaker as part of efforts to address infrastructure needs and improve living conditions across Ibadan North.
