    Residents, Motorists Hail Oyo Government on Oganla Road Rehabilitation

    Residents and Owners of properties as well as motorists on the Oganla street feeder road have commended the Oyo State Government for embarking on rehabilitation of the road.

    Alhaji Wahab Ogun, a community leader at Oganla said that “we are happy because this Rehabilitation will put a definite end to all the challenges we are facing on the road due to bad road as both motorist and pedestrian usually finds it difficult to Ply the road”.

    He stated that the road will serve as link for cars going or coming From Adamasingba and Salvation Army Road inorder to reduce the frequent traffic jams on these roads.

    He added that the residents are excited concerning the rehabilitation work “this is another developmental work that the Government is doing, as His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has promised that in this Omituntun 2.0 the people of OYo State will feel his positive impact more in all aspects of good work”.

    He prayed that God would be with Governor Seyi Makinde to attain greater heights, keep him safe and secure.

    Alhaji Jimoh Talabi while commending the rehabilitation work on the road, said that “we give all our thanks to Governor Seyi Makinde 2.0 , our prayers are because he has made us happy in this community, God will make him happy too in all areas of his life and his led administration will be a great success, because part of his success is what we are enjoying in our community “.

    He elaborated that the Rehabilitated road wil serve alternative route for cars along Queen cinema road to decongest traffic during holdup.

    He also appreciated Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency OYSROMA for working tirelessly in doing a well perfected work.

    Mrs. Idowu Samuel on her own part, stressed that the road used to be filled with potholes and have long been abandoned , as the community have given up hope on rehabilitation of the roadway.

    She said that the rehabilitation of the road gives them much Joy, while wishing Governor Seyi Makinde long life so that he can do more progressive projects for them in their community.

    Mr. Ridwan Oladeji said that because of damaged drainage system along the road axis, water used to damaged properties but thank the Oyo State Government for rescuing the community from this bad situation as good drainages system have been constructed.

    He gave kudos to Governor Seyi Makinde, on various infrastructural works both past and ongoing in the State, stating that the community will now be free from the constant accidents which used to occur along the road due to the deplorable situation of the thoroughfare.
