    Reverend Ogedengbe Commiserates With His Boss Governor Makinde Over Brothers’s Demise

    The Executive Assistant on Administration to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe has expressed his heartfelt condolences to his principal over the sudden passing of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.

    The news of the deceased went viral on Friday with many dignitaries in Nigeria and outside the shores of Africa commiserating with the Governor for the painful loss.

    Engineer Makinde was 65 years old, died on Friday, January 24, 2025, at his Ibadan residence.

    Ogedengbe who also visited the deceased home to show empathy with the bereaved family described Engineer Sunday Makinde’s death as a great loss not only to the Makinde family but also to the people of Oyo State.

    The astute politician who also commiserated with the incumbent Governor said: “Your Excellency sir, the Executive Governor of our dear State, I’m deeply saddened by the death of your elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde. He was a man of discipline, integrity, very supportive, hardworking and known for high moral rectitude in all his dealings with the people.

    “Sir, please know that my thoughts are with you and the entire family at this grieving moment. Accept my sympathy and condolences and through you to the whole Makinde families.

    “May his soul find eternal rest. I also pray for God’s protection on his immediate and extended family.”
