In a quest to drink fountain of knowledge and tap experience of leaders, the executives of SWAN, Lagelu & District Society of ICAN led by Mrs Folasade Ayo-Kumuyi, FCA paid a courtesy visit to the Pioneer Chairperson of the Society in Oyo State, Dr Rev Afolakemi Joy Saba, FCA in her residence last Thursday.
The ICAN Lagelu SWAN Rep, Mrs Folasade Ayo-Kumuyi sought the support, guidance, and valuable counsel of the host towards the growth and advancement of the society in the district.
In her response, Dr Rev Afolakemi Joy Saba encouraged the executives to remain steadfast, committed, and focused in their pursuits. She advised them to continue to uphold the values of excellence and to collaborate with other female professionals in fostering unity, growth, and greater achievements.
Her words of wisdom, encouragement, and motherly counsel were deeply appreciated by all present, and the visit was both impactful and inspiring.

SWAN is the acronyms of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria. Dr Rev Saba is the Pioneer Chairperson of the Society in Oyo State in 2002 and served for many years even before some chapters were formed outside Ibadan City.
Aside from that, Dr Rev Saba is the first female General Secretary of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN, at a time when there was only one district society of ICAN in Ibadan Land.
She is a seasoned financial consultant and a reverend in a Pentecostal Church. She is a thoroubred professional and scholar per excellence.
Dr Rev Folake Joy Saba is a distinguished and highly respected female Chartered Accountant whose remarkable impact and achievements continue to inspire many within and beyond the profession.
She is a staunch member and a Patron of Lagelu & District Society of ICAN. The Clergywoman is also an Executive Director of MFP Global Services, a group of Multidisciplinary Finance Professionals in Nigeria.
The ICAN Lagelu SWAN Rep, Mrs Folasade Ayo-Kumuyi, FCA is also a distinguished Chartered Accountant in public service. She is the Head of Local Government Administration in Oyo State having previously served as a Director of Finance in some Local Governments.
The Lagelu SWAN under her leadership has continued to reach out to stakeholders and speaking to many including old and young about her vision to educate, enlighten and empower women within their jurisdiction.
