The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has been honoured with a prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding leadership, community service, talent promotion and contributions to grassroots development.
The award was presented to the Egbeda council boss at the 6th edition of Champions Day, held at the SABLAK Event Centre, where his impactful service and commitment to the welfare and development of the people were celebrated.
The occasion attracted dignitaries from across Oyo State, including the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo (Ijaya), as well as other local government chairmen and political office holders.
Among those in attendance were Hon. Alawode Oluwole, Hon. Kolapo Temitope (Glorious), Hon. (Engr.) Akeem Olatunji, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, and other distinguished guests.
The recognition was widely described as a well-deserved honour, reflecting Hon. Sanda Sikiru’s dedication to effective grassroots leadership, community development and initiatives aimed at empowering and promoting talents within Egbeda Local Government.
