Goalpoacher News can authoritatively report that the elected local government Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen will be sworn in to office few days to the fifth anniversary of Governor Seyi Makinde in office.
It was gathered that 24th May 2024 has been approved for the Inauguration.
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in all the 33 local governments in the elections held on 27th April, 2024.
The ruling party equally won in all the 351 wards in Oyo State.
There are feelers that Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters will any moment direct all the outgoing council chairmen to hand over to Heads of local government administration in few days time.
The swearing in ceremony is expected to be performed at the House of Chiefs, Agodi, Secretariat by Governor Seyi Makinde.
