Senator (Dr) Monsurat Olajumoke Aduke Sunmonu, on Tuesday 27th May, 2025 donated food items and Cash Worth millions of naira to the less privileged, children and widows members of Ajagba, Olori, Ògògó, Ààrẹ ago, Idi-ape ogeese, and kosobo communities.
The food items were donated to close to 500 beneficiaries in different communities. In a world where access to meals is not guarantee for everyone, senator Sunmonu armed at supporting vulnerable and Less-privileged children and families through food donation play a crucial in addressing hunger and food insecurity.
The gesture provide a lifeline for those who are struggling to put food on the table, offering not only sustenance but also hope and dignity.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries, Senator Sunmonu said that the gesture was part of charity outreach to lessen the suffering of her people especially on food security.
While receiving the food items and money, beneficiaries appreciated the gesture and said the donation is commendable and prayed God to replenish the pocket of mama.
