I recall my first real engagement with the Distinguished Senator and I left with the indelible impression that a man or woman is blessed indeed to have Aladuke in your corner.It was an interview engagement where I asked numerous questions a particular one withade the strongest impression on me was when I asked about her future plans and if running for elective office was on her bucket list,she looked me straight in the eyes and replied and I quote :
” What hasGod not done for me? I have been there,done that,what’s left for me is to devote all my efforts,energies and prayers towards ensuring that my children and His Excellency GSM succeed beyond their wildest dreams”
I had always respected and admired the Distinguished but this was the point at which she earned my love.
That self appointed mandate to me was one of the most
profound expressions of
love,commitment and support.
