    Seun Olufade Honors Late Hon. Akinremi Jagaban as Family Donates Books, Bags to Students

    The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, paid tribute to the late Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as “Jagaban,” who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency until his passing.

    This heartfelt honor took place at Hon. Akinremi’s block in Emmanuel College, Ward Eleven, Ibadan North Local Government, where his family and political followers continued his legacy by donating notebooks and school bags to 73 primary school in Ibadan north federal constituency.

    During the event, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed his deep appreciation for the late federal House of Representatives member’s family.

    He emphasized that the occasion was not for political purposes but to honor someone who lived for posterity.

    Hon. Olufade praised Hon. Akinremi for his numerous positive contributions during his lifetime and noted that his legacy of impacting lives continues even after his death.

    The donation of school supplies, he remarked, exemplified Hon. Akinremi’s commitment to building a better future for the pupils in Ibadan North.

    In his speech, Hon. Olufade shared his personal connection with Hon. Akinremi, describing him as a good man who transcended political affiliations.

    He urged everyone to live a life worthy of remembrance, highlighting that Hon. Akinremi’s good deeds still speak for him today.

    Following his speech, Hon. Olufade presented the books and bags provided by the late representative’s family and followers to some of the schools, urging the Headmasters and headmistresses to distribute them accordingly and ensure they are well utilized.

    The council chairman thanked the Ibadan North Education Secretary, Mrs. Adewumi Adebusola, for making proper arrangements for the pupils to get to the venue.

    Accompanying Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade at the event were notable figures, including Vice chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Akeem Ayoade, Oyo State PDP Youth Leader and Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ogunsina Michael; Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency, Adebowale Falana; Head of Local Government Administration of Ibadan North Local Government, Mr. Akeem Olatunji; Director of Education and Social Services, Alhaja Nojimudeen Kudirat; Director of Budget, Mr. Kehinde Olasumbo; Information Officer, Mrs. Lala Olufunmike; Desk officer , Education, Mrs Abiodun Olatokun; Head of Media to the Chairman, Aderibigbe Yisahu; and Ayodamope Afolabi, a member of the media team.
