    Seyi Makinde: APM Schedules Presidential Primary, Unveiling Ceremony for May 30 in Ibadan

    ‎The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has scheduled its Presidential Primary Election, Collation and Unveiling Ceremony for Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
    ‎
    ‎Goalpoachernews gathered that consensus is expected to be done across the 36 states and the FCT on Thursday while official affirmation, collation and unveiling of Seyi Makinde as the consensus presidential candidate will hold on Saturday, May 30.

    The event will hold at the Emeritus Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m. prompt and is expected to attract party stakeholders, delegates, supporters, and political observers from across the country.

    ‎The ceremony forms part of the party’s preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections and is aimed at strengthening its internal democratic process.
    ‎
    ‎Party officials stated that the event would also provide an opportunity for members to reaffirm their commitment to the ideals and vision of the APM as it positions itself for future electoral contests.
    ‎
    ‎Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is expected to play a prominent role at the event, having been presented by supporters as a 2027 APM presidential hopeful.
    ‎
    ‎His participation is already generating interest among party faithful and political gladiators who view the ceremony as a significant moment in the party’s political activities.
    ‎
    ‎According to organizers, the collation and unveiling ceremony will reflect the party’s commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and democratic values.

    ‎They maintained that the process would be conducted peacefully and in accordance with the party’s constitution and guidelines.

    To this end, supporters of Governor Makinde have continued to express confidence in his leadership capacity and political experience ahead of time.
