The installation of Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde as the Aare Omoulabi and Yeye Aare Omoulabi of Akure Kingdom by The Deji of Akure, Oba (Dr) Aladtoyinbo Ogunlade Adelusi has been described as a manifestation of the popular saying that a goldfish has no hiding place.
The Chairman Oyo State Pilgrim Welfare Board, Muslim Wing, Sheik Atere stated this while congratulating Governor Seyi Makinde on his installation as the Aare Omoulabi of Akure kingdom on Friday.
He described the conferment as another well deserved honor to a man who has set the pace and blaze the trail in good governance and leadership qualities across the country.
” Hearty felicitations to the people’s Governor for adding another feather to his cap as he was honoured in Akure with the prestigious title of Aare Omoulabi.
“This is no doubt a further confirmation of your amiability, good nature and benevolence even outside our darling State.
” It is also a testament of your acceptability by well meaning individuals in the country. ”
Sheik Atere noted that the outstanding performance of Governor Seyi Makinde coupled with his people and masses oriented programmes has endeared more people to him.
” This Chieftaincy title is not surprising to many of us because you are a shining star who has continued to illuminate people’s paths irrespective of lineage or affiliation of any kind.
