    Sheikh Ajani Bello Lived an Exemplary Life – Senator Monsurat Sunmonu Mourns

    Former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu has commiserated with the family of late Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello who passed on Friday.

    Senator Monsurat who paid a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased in Ibadan on Saturday stated that Baba Muyideen Bello was a pious man who lived an exemplary life for everyone to emulate.


    Senator Monsurat added that the deceased was devoted to the service of Allah and humanity.

    According to her, late Muyideen Bello was an upright man who spoke truth to power without mincing words. Detailing that she had known Baba Muyideen since he was a missionary in Kano she recalled the relationship they had shared for decades.

    “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. His death is a huge personal loss because he was like a father to me and also the muslim community.

    “Baba will be greatly missed. I pray to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Aljanah Firdaus.

    “I pray that Allah gives his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this loss (Amin)”.
