

The Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muslim Wing, Sheik Atere, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s six years in office, particularly for his support for religious activities in the state.


In a statement made available to newsmen, Sheik Atere stated, “Governor Makinde’s administration has been a beacon of hope for the Muslim community in Oyo State.”


“His commitment to facilitating the pilgrimage process has made it easier for many to fulfill their religious obligations.”


He highlighted specific initiatives, saying, “The enhanced logistics and support for pilgrims this year reflect the Governor’s dedication to ensuring a seamless experience for all. We appreciate his efforts in providing necessary resources and guidance.”
