Splash FM Topples Agidigbo FM As JAMZ FM Maintains 8th Position
Splash 105.5 FM has regained its position as the most listened-to radio station in Oyo State, according to the latest MPS Ratings, the only official Radio rating company in Nigeria. Primus Media reports.
This comes after Agidigbo FM held the top spot for a short period.
The first private radio station in Ibadan, Splash FM dominated the Oyo airwaves for over 12 years before being overtaken by Agidigbo FM couple of months ago.
Their return to the number one position signifies a strategic shift that resonated with listeners.
In a brief chat with Primus Media, Kenneth Ugweje, better known as K-Boogie, a Senior Management staff of Splash FM, attributed their success to the station’s strong strategy team.
“I would say that the strategy team at Splash FM is top notch!” said Ugweje.
“Most of us on the senior management team are die-hard think-tanks and brilliant minds.” He added.
