The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the acquisition of a surveillance aircraft to strengthen the state’s security architecture.
Hon. Alawode described the initiative as a visionary and proactive investment that will significantly enhance intelligence gathering, improve rapid security response, and support the ongoing fight against criminal activities across Oyo State.
According to him, the surveillance aircraft is a clear demonstration of Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property, as well as his determination to ensure lasting peace and security for all residents.
He noted that the landmark achievement further reflects the Governor’s resolve to deploy modern technology and innovative strategies in addressing security challenges, thereby creating an enabling environment for economic growth and sustainable development.
Hon. Alawode urged residents of Oyo State to continue supporting the Governor’s people-oriented policies and to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information that will aid crime prevention.
