‎Report reaching Goalpoachernews this morning indicates that suspected herdsmen carried out an attack in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State on Wednesday evening, allegedly killing an elderly woman after sexually assaulting her.
    ‎
‎The incident was made public through a live video broadcast on Wednesday night by popular historian Aare Laji Abass.
    ‎
‎In the video, one of the deceased woman’s children recounted how the tragic event occurred at Oderemi Village in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo state.
    ‎
‎According to the narration, the victim had gone to a nearby bush to gather vegetables when the assailants reportedly accosted her, assaulted her, and killed her.
