Greetings, prayers and felicitation continue to pour in for Hon. Rita Orji, a former member of the House of Representatives and National Legal Adviser of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, as she celebrates her birthday amid goodwill from family, friends, political associates and admirers.
Joining the stream of birthday felicitations is former Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, who celebrated Rita for her contributions to public service, philanthropy, women’s empowerment and humanitarian causes.
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen at the weekend in Ibadan, the former Commissioner described Hon. Rita as a woman of timber and caliber.
“Today, I celebrate a woman of purpose, courage and impact, whose journey continues to inspire others through public service, enterprise and unwavering commitment to humanity. Hon. Rita Orji has demonstrated that true leadership goes beyond occupying public office; it is also about using one’s position and resources to make a difference in the lives of others,” Balogun said.
“Her commitment to philanthropy, education, youth empowerment and the advancement of women is worthy of recognition. Through her various initiatives, she has continued to create opportunities for people, support those in need and encourage others to believe in their own potential,” she added.
As Hon. Rita Orji begins another year, Balogun encouraged her to remain steadfast in her commitment to service, compassion and the empowerment of others, urging her to continue being a source of inspiration to women, youths and people whose lives she has touched.
She prayed that God would grant Orji many more years in good health, wisdom, strength and fulfilment, while blessing the works of her hands and giving her greater opportunities to impact society.
Mrs Balogun also wished her continued success, happiness and peace as she enters another chapter of her life.
