The Lawmaker representing Akinyele Constituency 1, Hon Lekan Monsur Abiola has pledged his support for the people of Elebu community who sought his help for the purchase of a new transformer for residents of the area.
The Oyo Assembly lawmaker who was represented by his Personal Assistant, Adeniji Ibrahim visited the community on Saturday and assured the leaders of his readiness to support them in the procurement of a new transformer since the old one got damaged over a year ago.
Speaking on Hon Lekan’s behalf, Ibrahim said the astute parliamentarian is always committed and ready to do anything in his capacity for his constituents whenever the need arises.
He, however solicited the community’s support for the PDP chairmanship candidate in Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye and all PDP candidates in the forthcoming local government election.
He said the emergence of PDP candidates at the local government elections in 2024 will ensure dividends of democracy easily get to people at the grassroots.
In their responses, Elebu landlords expressed their profound gratitude to the lawmaker for his support according to them, “ Hon lekan Abiola has proven that he is a worthy representative, no one has ever done such for us, we pray that he shall succeed in everything he lays his hands on and may he never be in darkness” they said.
The landlords also promised to support the PDP local government chairmanship candidate, and all PDP candidates at the local government elections in 2024.
