…Hails Governor Seyi Makinde, Soun of Ogbomoso
In its bids to ensure even distribution of potable water to its consumers across the State,the Oyo State Water Corporation has begun pumping of water after the completion of the rehabilitation of water facilities in Ogbomoso.
The Executive Chairman of the Corporation,Hon. Elias Adeojo made this declaration in his office on Friday.
Hon.Adeojo stated that the efforts of the State government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde on provision of potable water to all the gro-political zones is bringing positive results.
He reiterated that residents of Ogbomoso can now enjoy potable water in abundance as every steps are being taken to make water available always.
“The residents of different communities ranging from Orisunmibare, Isale Areago, Papa Adeyemo, Papa Alajiki, Osupa, Osu-Naira, Bowen Teaching Hospital, Baptist Theological Seminary among others have started enjoying the service of the Corporation” the Chairman posited.
Hon. Adeojo assured the residents of the Ogbomosoland that the Corporation would not rest on its oars in ensuring sustainability of the tempo in provision potable water.He therefore extended his appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for usual support to the Corporation.
Equally, Hon. Adeojo appreciated the Soun of Ogbomoso,His Imperial Majesty,Oba Ghamdi Olaoye for his moral and financial support during the rehabilitation of the water facilities in the ancient town.
