In a remarkable display of compassion, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo (RAD), the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has launched an initiative to empower women in Oyo State.
Recognising the economic challenges faced by many in the state, the political female trailblazer selected a few people across local governments and provided them with much-needed cash to support their businesses.
“Our administration is committed to uplifting the lives of all citizens, especially the most vulnerable.”
“By empowering these women, we are not only supporting their individual businesses but also investing in the collective prosperity of our state.”
She lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s unwavering support and the commitment of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Femi Ojo, aka Ijaya, who is also instrumental to the initiative.
Hon. Dabo promised to closely monitor the progress of the businesses and provide additional cash incentives to those who thrive the most, ensuring the long-term success of these women.
“Governor Makinde’s administration has always been committed to the welfare of the people. This is the kind of leadership and compassion that we need to see more of in our state,” added Hon. Dabo.
