…Chief Imam of Ibadanland Hosts Iyaloja General of Oyo State
The Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje has continued to gain prominence among stakeholders in the State.
This was as Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje was recognized at an official event attended by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde.
Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States who doubles as Aare of Ibadanland, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola popularly known as De-Damak invited the officially recognized Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Saratu Aduke Konibaje to be among his entourage to a Special Ramadan programme organized by former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi on Monday.
The event was attended by top government functionaries and Muslim leaders.
Earlier on Monday, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaji Abduganiy Agbotomokekere played host to Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje and her entire crew.
The Iyaloja General of Oyo State who led her team paid a courtesy on the prominent Islamic scholar stating that the visit was part of her Ramadan schedule.
The Chief Imam prayed for her and her council members and urged her to extend the olive branch to other aggrieved members.
