I amended a motion by my Hon. Colleague
The sexual violence re-orientation of our police force is very very key because most times when cases of rape are brought before the police they don’t pay much attention to it, when you see the kind of harm being done to especially a minor that is being raped there must be situation whereby the police have a human attitude to Rape
Amendment request by Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe @toluakandesadipe on the need to include a special Department in the Police Force dedicated to Rape in general and that of Minors, to be staffed with special police personnel who have gone through Psychological counselling programs, to prepare them to handle the cases properly without any bias against the victim as is prevalent in our society.
