    Why We Conducted Staff Audit in Akinyele LG – Hon Wole Akinleye

    In a significant landmark process to ensure a productive atmosphere towards excellent service delivery, The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye has completed detailed and comprehensive staff Audit in the Local Government.

    The Staff Audit which took place at the Conference hall, Local Government council, Moniya Ibadan was part of the Executive Chairman’s ideology to ensure the provision of a working environment that will enhance productivity within the local government.


    In a statement made Available to the public through his Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Hon Akinwole Akinleye stated that the exercise wasn’t aimed at witch hunting anyone as widely rumored, but to improve on areas that will bring development to the Masses.

    In his words, he said, “This exercise is not targeted at anyone, it is to ascertain Nominal Roles, provide information that may help improve the working environment and also to provide information that could aid working relationships between the superiors and the subordinates for effective and efficient productivity.”

    The Executive Chairman disclosed that the Auditing process has helped to identify areas of inefficiencies and provided avenues for improvement to ensure optimal allocation of resources, reduce waste and maximize productivity. He also stated that the exercise helped to identify areas where additional training or supports are required to improve staff capacity and effectiveness.

    “I am delighted with the level of cooperation displayed by the staff during this process. I can assure you that the feedback from this exercise will be taken into consideration and properly addressed. The conduct of this exercise is an evidence of our high level of commitment to the development of our dear local government”

    The Executive Chairman also promised to make Available to the Staff members Means of communicating information to his team which can help improve the work productivity such as Email through the HLGA.

    Members of the Audit Committee also includes The Executive Vice Chairman, Hon Sakiru Akintunde,The local Government Councilors , the Chief of staff to the Executive Chairman, Hon Aderinwale Adeyemi among others.
