As part of activities marking the children’s day 2024, the wife of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda LG, Alhaja Monsurat Abiola Sanda visited DORCAS ADUOLA HOME, GBAGI, ROYAL DOMINION ORPHANAGE HOME, OLUWO AND NAZARETH ORPHANAGE HOME OF THE LESS PRIVILEGED, AJODA in Egbeda local government, Ibadan.
While welcoming the first woman in Egbeda local government, coordinators of the orphanage homes, Madam Dorcas Adunola, Evangelist Popoola and Omole Riffany-Mary expressed their joy, saying the visit was promise kept during the electioneering campaign of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele said the council boss had promised never to forsake the orphanage.
Alhaji Sanda embraced the orphans and presented to them numerous gifts ranging from indomie, spaghetti, toiletries, biscuits and other preferred children’s food items.
The council first lady prayed for the children and their caregivers and wished them happy celebrations.
Among the entourage of Alhaja Sanda are the wife of the vice chairman, Egbeda LG, Alhaja Sekinat Oladebo Simple, Mrs Ilugbaro(DESS), Mrs Olakanmi Olayemi (Wife of Hon. Councillor ward 11), Mrs Adedeji Jumoke, (wife of Hon. Councillor ward 3), Mrs Kolapo Fatimah, (wife of Hon councillor ward 7), Mr. Taofeek(DDESS), Mrs Sheu and others.
