The Chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) in Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa affectionately known as ‘Tommy,’ has celebrated his members as the country marks Workers’ Day.

In his message, he emphasised the importance of recognising the contributions of workers to the society and the economy.

“Today, we celebrate not just the hard work but the dedication and resilience of every member of our community. Our workers are the backbone of this state, and their efforts drive our progress.”

He continued, “As we mark this special day, let us remember that our strength lies in unity. Together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way.”

Tommy also highlighted the need for ongoing support and recognition of workers’ rights: “It is crucial that we advocate for fair treatment and better working conditions. Every worker deserves to feel valued and respected.”

He used the occasion to urge all transport workers in the state to exercise caution while driving, saying, “Safety should always be our priority. I urge everyone to follow traffic regulations and drive responsibly. Let’s ensure that we return home safely to our families after a hard day’s work.”
