Oyo State Government Women of Substance has congratulated Oyo State Civil Servants on the peaceful working atmosphere currently being witnessed in the state.
The group stated this in a statement issued through its coordinator, Hon. Helen Taiwo Adebakin, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan this Friday, also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for prompt payment of workers salaries and retirees pension as at when due.
According to the group,the prompt payment of salaries and pensions by the governor is in tandem with the biblical injunction that labourers should be paid their wages as at when due.
“we want to use this medium to congratulate the Nigerian workers on the event marking the 2020 Workers Day.’’ And pray that God almighty will continue to give them the grace to live a worthy and a well fulfilled life. We also pray for the continuous protection and guidance of our dear Governor and his family.
