Yoruba Community in Malta and Gozo Applauds Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s Visit and Generosity

 

The Yoruba community in Malta and Gozo has expressed deep appreciation to Chief (Engr) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo of Odùduwà, for his visit, warm engagement, and generous gesture during his recent interaction with the community in Europe.

In a statement issued by the President, Mr. Shamson Alamu, on behalf of Ẹgbẹ́ Ọmọ Yorùbá in Malta and Gozo, the visit was described as a source of pride, cultural reawakening, and an emotional reconnection to the Yoruba homeland.

According to the statement, the Okanlomo’s humility, warmth, and genuine affection for his people left an indelible impression on community members, further strengthening the bond between Yoruba descendants at home and in the diaspora.

“With profound respect and heartfelt gratitude, we thank Your Royal Highness for honouring us with your presence and for the special gift graciously presented to our community. Your kindness and generosity are deeply cherished and sincerely appreciated,” the statement read.

The community also commended his exemplary leadership, noting that his conduct embodies the values, dignity, and historic greatness of Yorùbáland.

Prayers were offered for continued wisdom, strength, and success in his leadership and service to humanity.

The statement concluded with a collective message of gratitude from all Yoruba sons and daughters in Malta and Gozo:
