The Association of All Yoruba Obas in the Republic of Benin, Cotonou, has expressed profound appreciation to His Imperial Majesty, Arole Oduduwa, the Ooni of Ife, for the warm and historic reception accorded to their delegation at the Ooni’s Palace in Ile-Ife.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the President of AOYAD, SA Majesté Oba Kiffuli Adepada Wale, Oni Illaso, commended the revered monarch for the honour, hospitality, and royal fatherly support extended to the Yoruba traditional rulers from the Republic of Benin during their visit to the palace.
The association also expressed deep gratitude for the generous financial support amounting to millions of naira provided by His Imperial Majesty to support and promote Yoruba cultural and traditional activities in the Republic of Benin.
According to the association, the gesture reflects the unwavering commitment of Arole Oduduwa to the unity, progress, and preservation of the Yoruba race across borders.
The Association of Yoruba Obas in the Republic of Benin reaffirmed its dedication to promoting Yoruba culture, strengthening traditional institutions, and supporting initiatives that foster unity among Yoruba people worldwide.
