Yoruba Youths @20, Tinubu @69 Celebrations Hold September 23

 

 

 

The Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba, which was formerly known as the National Council of Yoruba Youths, was inaugurated between 13 – 17, October, 2001, with blessings of Prominent Yoruba Sons and Daughters as well as friends of Yoruba from other Regions.

Every arrangement has now reached the peak, with a reasonable number of beautiful anniversary banners being displayed around the important locations within the Centre of Excellence, Lagos State, and the ongoing Nation wide circulation of the vehicle Stickers of the 20th Anniversary Logo, to celebrate the 2 decades of its existence as well as Yoruba National Day, September 23 annually, in grand style with our 10th Yoruba Youth Leadership Summit which will also feature Ijala, Ekun Iyawo, Rara, Ewi, Qiuz, and Dancing Competitions during the 3 separate Interludes.

The carefully selected Personalities across the States of the Federation have been nominated for our beautifully carved Odu’a (Ori Olokun) Awards and they have been contacted accordingly.

The topic of discussion, “Osun, Ekiti 2022: Bibori Ipenija a ti mu Idibo yi je Ategun Rere fun Idibo Apapo Odun 2023” is to be delivered by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Mr Dare Babarinsa, the immediate past Governor of Osun State, who doubles as the Honourable Minister of Interior and Publisher, Gazkia Magazine respectively, under the Chairmanship of Chief Pius Akinyelure, a member of the NNPC Board and Oil Industry Technocrat. The Vice Chairman is Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK), a June 12 Activist and a globally Prominent freedom Fighter.

The purpose of this important lecture is to prepare the ground for peaceful conduct of 2023 general election using Anambra 2021, Ekiti and Osun 2022 models of approach.

Special Guest of Honour is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu while Guests of Honour are the Executive Governors from Yoruba Extraction.

Father and mother of the day are Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi and Emeritus Prof (Mrs) Bolanle Awe.

Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State is the Chief Host.

This event, which will take place on Thursday, 23 September, 2021, inside Banquet Hall, Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, by 11:00am prompt, is dedicated to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @ 69 in appreciation of his longstanding contribution to the Progress and development of Yorubaland as earlier broadcasted in March this year ahead of his March 29 Birthday Anniversary.

The invitation has been extended to various Groups and individuals, in and outside the Country, and we are using this medium to formally announce that our uniquely designed 20th anniversary Anniversary Logo has started moving around the World since July through social media and the 20th anniversary Vehicle’s stickers.
