The Senator from Oyo North in the 10th National Assembly, Dr Buhari Abdulfatai has extended warm felicitations to a veteran broadcaster, Mr. Isaac Brown on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a brother, a professional of high repute, and a consistent advocate for good governance.
The Senator, in a statement released today, noted that Isaac Brown’s contributions to journalism and public discourse have remained a source of inspiration to many across Oyo State and beyond.
Senator Buhari praised Isaac Brown for his ethical and legal understanding of broadcasting journalism, saying his approach to reportage has helped raise standards in the media industry.
“Isaac is not just a journalist. He is a professional who understands the law, respects the ethical boundaries, and uses his platform responsibly to inform and educate the public,” the Senator stated.
The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District highlighted Isaac Brown’s role as a vanguard of better governance and an ideal society.
According to him, “Isaac has consistently used his voice to demand transparency, accountability, and people-centered policies from leaders at all levels of government”.
“At a time when the media space is crowded with sensationalism, Isaac stands out as a voice of reason and integrity,” Senator Buhari acknowledged.
He added “his commitment to truth, fairness, and nation-building reflects the kind of journalism Nigeria needs to strengthen our democracy.”
The Senator, who also commended Isaac’s brotherly disposition and loyalty to friends and colleagues prayed that the new year of his life would bring greater wisdom, health, and impact.
