The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has been described as an EXCEPTIONAL GOVERNOR who has ensured that the economic template of Oyo State is competing keenly with other states.
This was stated by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, while congratulating Governor Seyi Makinde as the recipient of the prestigious ‘Governor of the Year 2023′ Award By Leadership Newspaper.
According to Hon. Alawode, the quantum leap made by Governor Seyi Makinde in the areas of economic growth, massive infrastructure development projects, as well as other excellent achievements across different sectors, stood him out among his peers for this award.
Hon. Alawode said the award was well-deserved for a governor who was investing in infrastructural development to keep up with the growing population of his state,
The council boss reiterates that Governor Makinde’s extraordinary leadership style, performance and dedication to the well being of people are qualities worth celebrating, and the people of Oyo State are lucky to have a governor like him.
Hon. Alawode also applauded the management of Leadership Newspaper for recognising a performing Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, as recipient of its Governor of the Year 2023 Award.
Arole Omituntun then expressed confidence in Governor Makinde’s ability to continually put the state among top performing states in the country.
