Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has extended his congratulations and well wishes to the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. (Chief) Obafemi Ademola Ojo, on the occasion of his birthday.
Hon. Adepoju, in his remarks in the early hours of Wednesday, described Babaloja-General of Ibarapa Land as a man whom God has blessed in all ramifications. He extolled the gallantry and bravery of the celebrant, describing him as a man for all seasons.
Hon. Adepoju also praised the political doyen for not only being a renowned grassroots political veteran but also a community man par excellence.
“On the occasion of his previous birthday, we described him as a Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives; today, he is our Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters; this is a sign of God’s blessing for a man who is ready to go above and beyond for his people in any endeavour,” he remarked.
The lawmaker said future generations would look at Hon. Ojo’s political records and be motivated by his nature of political adaptability and competencies.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character, however, emphasised that, at 62, Hon. Ojo has attained the status of a statesman, having served in different public capacities, praying that God continues to grant him strength, good health, longevity, wisdom and understanding to continue to shape our community, nation and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
