Legal expert, Alhaji Ahmed Raji, SAN, has congratulated a former governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Senator Rashidi Ladoja on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
He described the former governor as a visionary and inspirational leader, who has dedicated his life to serving the people as a political and county leader, noting that he deserves to be celebrated at 80.
Raji, who is the president of the Oke Ogun Development Consultative Forum, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
Describing Oba Ladoja as an enigma who has been helped by Allah to attain many heights, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria prayed to All to grant Ladoja more years, good health and the sound mind needed to attain further heights and achieve his heart desires.
He said: “Our father, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland and former Governor of Oyo State, today, I join the rest of your children to celebrate you as you clock 80.
“You have been an enigma, an inspirational and visionary leader, who dedicated his life to serving humanity and making others happy.
‘Your Excellency, as you join the league of the octogenarians, I pray to Allah SWT to grant you the good health and wisdom to continue to make more impact on humanity and to achieve your heart desires.
‘Happy Birthday, Baba.”
