    Bodija Explosion: Oyo Govt sets up donation platform for victims

    The Oyo State Government has set up a platform for donation to support the victims of explosion in Dejo Oyelese Close, Adeyi Avenue, Bodija, Ibadan.

    The platform can be accessed through https://emergencysupport.oyostate.gov.ng/.

    A statement on the platform indicated that all donations will go directly to the Bank account of Dejo Oyelese Landlord/Resident Association, while the state government will work with the leadership of the Resident Association to ensure accountability and active participation of all affected in the disbursement of the donations.
    The statement read in part:


    “Please Donate to support victims of the Ibadan Bodija Explosion. Your Donation will go a long way to help. Thank you. Oyo state Government.

    As Yorubas and indeed Nigerians, we believe in the power of community and the strength of unity.

    This donation portal is provided by the Oyo State Government as a service to victims directly affected by the Ibadan explosion disaster.

    “All donations go directly to the Bank account of Dejo Oyelese Landlord/Resident Association while Oyo State Government will work with the leadership of the Resident association to ensure accountability and active participation of all affected in the disbursement of the donations.

    “This is the time to rebuild the communities affected by the Ibadan Explosion. Join us.”
