LG Chairmen Hail Dr Akin Fagbemi, Seek Collaboration With Hospitals Board For Renovation of Facilities
Some local government Chairmen led by the chairman of Ibadan North West Local Goverment, Honourable Adepoju Olanrewaju paid a courtesy visit on the chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board,Dr Akin Fagbemi on partnership with the board and Oyo state govt in improving the health sector in the state.
In his speech, Honourable Olanrewaju said the association is proud of the leadership quality of Dr Akin Fagbemi since his inception as the chairman of OYSHMB especially in the areas of changing the faces of all the health facilities in the state and his efforts toward improving the health sector in the state through the Sustainable health care delivery to all the entire populace of the state under Omi-Tuntun 2.0 agenda of his excellency,Engr Oluseyi Makinde.
In his own response,the chairman of the board,Dr Fagbemi solicited for more support from all the chairmen of the 33 local govt in the state in the area of collaboration or partnership with the board in renovating the state health facilities within their local govt area.
He further stressed that most of the hospitals in the local govt areas especially those in the rural area and the less city zone of the state need perimeter fencing and provision of adequate security in all the facilities.
He therefore solicited for more support from all the council chairmen in the state so as to make the dream comes to reality and appreciated them for their visit.
In the entourage with the chairman of the Ibadan North West Local Govt,Hon Adepoju Olanrewaju was the chairman of Oyo East Local Govt,Hon Peter Olusola and the chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Govt,Hon. Olusola Adeleke.
