The former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Matter, Fatai Owoseni rtd has officially withdrawn from the Accord gubernatorial primaries scheduled for Tuesday.

This online platform had earlier reported that Owoseni would not participate in the process citing lack of confidence in the process.

Sources close to the party in Abuja told the Goalpoachernews that the retired Commissioner of Police has withdrawn his participation from the primaries taking place on Tuesday.

He was said to have raised certain questions bothering on the alleged deployment of violence and infiltration of the party set up by certain forces within the state.

Owoseni was said to have told the National Chairman on Monday that he won’t participate in the primaries and had refused to listen to all entrieties.

Though the chairman assured him the right thing would be done, he insisted that he wasn’t desperate to contest election and that he would always render service to the good people of Oyo State, whether he is governor or not.

“I am not desperate to contest,” he was said to have told the national chairman on Monday.
