The Southwest PDP caretaker committee under the leadership of Hon Dayo Ogungbenro, held her Inaugural meeting in Ibadan Friday.
The meeting was well attended by all members of the committee from the six states that make up the zone. While paying a visit to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Hon Ogungbenro said, “we came to thank governor Makinde and all the leaders of the party in the Southwest for the opportunity given to them to serve the party.”
While speaking, Governor Makinde on behalf of all the PDP leaders in the southwest pledged his maximum support for the committee.
GOALPOACHER NEWS reports that the caretaker committee in the next 48 hours, will embark on courtesy and reconciliatory meetings with eminent leaders of the party in the zone. The committee therefore urged all good spirited members of the party to cooperate with the new Caretaker Committee and open their arms to welcome new members into her fold for a resounding victory in the forthcoming Ondo State and other elections so that by 2023, the party will record landslide victory in all the southwest states.
