Member Representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has announced a luncheon with the first-class graduates who finished in the year 2023 in the federal constituency.

The lawmaker made this known on Monday, December 11, 2023, while outlining a schedule of events for the end of the year in his constituency, Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

According to the lawmaker, the first-class graduates deserve to be celebrated to demonstrate that academic excellence is needed to build a nation that works and to motivate others to strive for excellence in their studies. The gesture, according to him, aligns with one of his goals of building a constituency that works and creates an impactful atmosphere for success.

“I am aware of the exceptional abilities of our students in our various tertiary institutions of learning, and it gives me joy that we have this teeming number of extraordinary youths in our constituency.

“Education is the bedrock of any nation, and in improving the standard of education, we must show in every action that we are not just paying lip service to it.

“It will interest you all that this constituency has bred a lot of young scholars who are making grand strides nationally and internationally, and it is important to celebrate these fresh first-class graduates in our communities for achieving this impressive academic feat.

Speaking further, the lawmaker appreciated the 2023 first-class graduates in the constituency for making the constituency proud on all fronts, promising that their efforts in seeking excellence will never be in vain.

“Despite the distractions everywhere and the belief that the current generation of youths is not serious, you took the bull by the horns to make this possible; you haven’t just made yourselves and those of your immediate families proud but also the Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, and we consider this a feat to be proud of.

The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Federal Character, however, said he looks forward to having an intellectual engagement on Friday, December 22, 2023, in the federal constituency with the exceptional gratuates at a special location that will be disclosed to them soon.

He said the aim of the meeting is to have a face-to-face conversation so as to discuss the pathway for the federal constituency and Nigeria at large and also to have them considered for various opportunities in the country and beyond.
