The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr Toheeb Adegoke Adlat has received a major boost to his political aspiration as immediate past councillors of Akinyele Local Government openly declared their support for his candidacy.

The endorsement came during a meeting held last Saturday between Adegoke and the former councillors, where discussions centred on the development needs of the constituency and the quality of representation its people deserve.

Speaking on the outcome of the meeting, Engr Adegoke described the gathering as warm and productive, noting that it was characterised by honest conversations about the future of communities within the federal constituency.

“It was more like brothers sitting together to talk about how we can make things better for our constituency and give our people the representation they truly deserve,” he said.

Adegoke expressed deep gratitude for the love, encouragement, and support shown to him by the former legislators, adding that their endorsement has strengthened his resolve to pursue the mandate.

“Hearing them openly declare their support for my aspiration to serve in the House of Representatives means a lot to me, and I do not take it lightly. Their belief in this journey gives me even more strength and motivation to keep pushing forward,” he stated.

The APM candidate assured the people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency that with the grace of God and the continued support of the people, he is committed to building a constituency they will all be proud of.
