AKINYELE LG CHAIR, TAOREED JIMOH INSPECTS MONIYA-ISEYIN ROAD, LAUDS MAKINDE
The Caretaker Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh has inspected the ongoing Moniya/Iseyin road which is at the finishing stage.
Hon. Adedigba while addressing the journalists, commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his quick intervention on the road which has been moribund for many years before the present administration came to power.
He also expressed his appreciation to Gov. Seyi Makinde on behalf of the people of Akinyele as the road has brought lots of economic value to many communities in the local government. Also he appreciated the people’s governor ‘GSM’ as he’s popularly called for his kind gestures to Akinyele people starting from the N10m relief fund given to the victims of fire incident which was experienced some months ago, covid-19 palliative distribution in the local government, immeasurable intervention on the security challenges in Akinyele Local Government and bringing Ijaye quarry and asphalt company back to operation which has help in reducing the number of unemployed youths in the local government.
Lastly, Hon. Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh expressed his sincere appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to serve his people and promised to always follow the legacy been laid down by the governor and maintain the humanitarian service spirit in operating in him.
