The Caretaker Chairman of Latoosa LCDA, Hon. Kazeem Adewale Oshoniyi, has dedicated his award of excellent service to God, Gov Seyi Makinde and the people of Latosha LCDA in Ibadan North Local Government.
Oshoniyi made this known shortly after receiving the award from Merit Communication, Ibadan, on Thursday, 26th of January, 2021.
The Chairman was awarded for excellent performance for the Best Ten LGAs/ LCDAs in Oyo State.
He used the occasion to express his gratitude to Governor Engr Seyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to serve and thanked the royal father and entire traditional stool of Latoosa LCDA for the honour done him, adding that the award is one he will cherish for a lifetime.
According to him, “I’m so happy and fulfilled today, having been recognized by the custodian of our norms and culture. It’s a lifetime honour I will so cherish. I thank His Excellency, Governor Engr Seyi Makinde, for giving me the opportunity to serve in his administration to serve as one of the Caretakers Chairmen.
“I thank Merit Communication, Ibadan for finding me fit for an award of excellence. This show of love will remain evergreen in my memory and I promise to work more for the growth of our people”.
He further stated that such recognition is a spur to work harder on his assignment and support the growth and welfare of his people.”
“It is gratifying that our modest efforts, especially since the coming on board of our leadership in 2020, are being recognized by the organisers of this prestigious award. I convey my profound gratitude to the organisers for counting me worthy of this award and we accept this gesture as a challenge for to do more in digitally advancing our economy,” Ishoniyi responded after receiving the award.”
According to the citation, Hon. Oshoniyi was described as “a brilliant astute administrator, philanthropist and an outstanding nation builder who has brought his wealth of experience and remarkable regulatory finesse to bear”
